Your Itinerary

Day 1

Fes to Azrou Cedar Forest to Ziz Valley to Merzouga Desert

Your 3 days tour from Fes to Marrakech kicks off early in the morning when your driver picks you up from your accommodation. We will then head south towards the beautiful town of Ifrane, often referred to as the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ due to its distinctive alpine architecture.

Next, we will take a peaceful walk through the cedar forests of Azrou to meet the friendly wild monkeys. After a relaxing lunch break in Midelt, we will continue our journey through the spectacular Ziz Valley, which is famous for its millions of green date palms. In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Merzouga, where you will swap your vehicle for a camel. You will then trek across the golden dunes just in time for sunset and arrive at your beautiful desert camp, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and a night of Berber drum music under the stars.

Day 2

Merzouga Desert to Todra Gorges to Dades Valley

Wake up early to witness the breathtaking sight of the desert sunrise painting the massive sand dunes golden and orange. After enjoying a fresh breakfast at the camp, ride your camel back to Merzouga to meet your driver.

Then, we will hit the road towards the dramatic Todra Gorges. Here, a river has carved out a massive canyon, leaving behind sheer red rock walls stretching high into the sky. After a peaceful walk alongside the river, we will drive through arid landscapes and palm-filled oases until we reach the beautiful Dades Valley. You will enjoy a hearty Moroccan dinner and a very relaxing overnight stay at a charming local hotel.

Day 3

Dades Valley to Ait Benhaddou to High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech

On the last day of your adventure, we will drive along the picturesque Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through the aromatic Valley of the Roses. We will stop briefly in the cinematic city of Ouarzazate before reaching the world-famous Kasbah Ait Benhaddou.

This spectacular fortified village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has provided the backdrop for films such as Gladiator. After exploring the ancient mud alleys and enjoying a tasty lunch, we will drive over the majestic High Atlas Mountains. We will stop at the Tizi N’Tichka pass to take some incredible panoramic photos before finally dropping you off at your accommodation in Marrakech in the early evening.
